  48. Installing the Findswell Demo:

  54. (Don’t install the Findswell Demo if you already have the real Findswell installed.  Just use the real thing!)

  56. • To install the Findswell Demo on System 6 and previous Systems:

  58. Drag the Findswell Demo icon into your System Folder.
  59.  
  60. Restart your Macintosh.

  62. • To install Findswell Demo on System 7:

  64. Drag the Findswell Demo icon on top of your System Folder icon.
  65.  
  66. An alert appears asking if you want Findswell to be placed in the Control Panels folder.  Click the OK button.

  70. About the Findswell Demo

  72. Findswell adds a “Findswell” button to the Open and Save dialog boxes of most programs.

  80. Locate documents and folders you use frequently, and click in the boxes by their names to checkmark them.  These checkmarked items appear whenever you run Findswell, allowing you to open those documents or folders instantly.

  103. After you install Findswell, Findswell remembers documents opened by any program, using Findswell or not, so you can open them later.  You can control the number of documents you want Findswell to remember (short-term memory) in the Control Panel.

  105. This demo of Findswell allows you only to FIND files or folders.  The real Findswell allows you to OPEN a folder or document after locating it.
